According to Aucor managing director, Shannon Winterstein, the sale will be auction dreamland for lovers of automotive excellence. “ We are expecting to have close on 100 models on the floor so anyone in the market for a good deal on anything from the proverbial A to Z — an Aston Martin or a Z3 or anything in between — should attend,” he said.
Buyers looking for a stunner of note should consider a black 2008 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Coupe with only 2800km on the clock. Adding to the list of exotics are Italian thoroughbreds including a low- mileage yellow 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe, a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe E-Gear, a perfect Ferrari red 2008 599 GTB Fiorano and a white Maserati Quattroporte.
There is a good showing from the Mercedes-Benz stable with a selection of vehicles across several classes, ranging from an A200 Elegance, a B200 Turbo, a C220 CDi and C320 CDi Auto, all 2007 models. Topping the list is a SLK55 AMG and a 2008 SL65 AMG. Buyers can pick their Porsche of choice, starting with a 2008 Boxter S, a 2002 911 Turbo or a 2004 911 GT3. There is a full range of bigger models to choose from , including a 2008 Cayenne, a Cayenne S Auto or a Cayenne Turbo S 2006 models. Other notable models include a new shape BMW 750i, a duo of Bentley Continental GTs and a 2008 Audi R8 V8 Quattro . On the SUV side bidders can choose from a 2009 Mercedes-Benz ML350, a 2008 Audi Q7 4.2, a 2007 ML500 and a 2007 Landrover Discovery TD HSE. For something a little more different there is buyers a Bayliner boat with Mercruiser 5.0l , a Kawasaki quad bike, a black Harley Davidson 886cc and a 2008 Vespa LX150. The auction is on this Saturday at noon at Aucor’s Midrand premises, with viewing on Friday and the same Saturday from 9am .
