Team orders were given the boot in the wake of the Austrian Grand Prix in 2002 when Rubens Barrichello blatantly moved aside to allow team-mate Michael Schumacher to pass, sparking jeers from the crowd and worldwide condemnation. However, just because the maneuver is banned does not mean teams do not still implement the strategies.

Setanta readers' comment of the day Exactly, what more can Gerrard possibly do to prove that he is, literally, worth more than his weight in gold. He scores vital goals, works his socks off, tackles, (unlike Lampard), passes very well, assists and can provide balance to the team. He is also always 100% committed to the cause and can (unlike any other player in the world) play in any outfield, position on the field to a very high standard.

Run F1 as befitting an International sport, not via a biased FIA who admit to 'keeping an eye on someone' or tell the BBC who they don't want!!! how dare they make such statements, they believe they are bigger then the sport, they think amateur stewards who change at every race is ok. F1 one has had its worst year ever for bad decisions, this years championship will probably go down as being decided by un-fair penalties... as they say...

Anyway, there is no point in getting stressed about it. Formula 1 has seen their like before (to a lesser or great extent). They come and they go and the sport survives them all. Formula 1 is the greatest show on earth, and we who follow it are the kids who ran off to join the circus, rather than stayed at home to lead more sensible lives.

Do you remember a time when Honda was a serious player in F1? That was 2004, and the team (at that time, still BAR-Honda) finished second in the constructors championship with a walloping 119 points. But the last two years have been an appalling time for the Brackley outfit. This season to date, they have amassed just 14 points, and all of them in the first half of the season. The one ray of hope this year was Rubens Barrichello s third place at a rain-affected Silverstone.
