BMW star Kubica, who has been a friend of Hamilton since their karting days, was quoted by The Sun as saying: Š²ŠŃMy head tells me Lewis will be world champion Š²Šā but my heart hopes it will be Felipe. I know Lewis is seven points clear but I would prefer Felipe.

Hamilton is in position to become F1's youngest champion. The only way Massa can beat him is if the Brazilian wins his home race and the McLaren driver finishes no higher than seventh, or Massa finishes second and Hamilton out of the points. We are in a tough position, but we know anything can happen, Massa said.
