You wonder, "Is this going to be the take-off that makes me throw up?" Not quite. For one, this is no airplane. It's a Tesla Roadster , the new all-electric sports car I've been invited to test-drive and write about.

Felipe Massa is 7 points behind McLaren s Lewis Hamilton with just the Interlagos race to go, meaning even a Ferrari one-two might not be enough to defend the team s 2007 title. My goal at the beginning of the year was to win our eighth title in 10 years. It s something no-one has ever managed, Montezemolo said.

Here is how the points system works. For a win, the winner gets ten points; second place, eight points; third place, six points; fourth place, five points; fifth place, four points; sixth place, three points; seventh place, two points; and, eighth place, one point. As it stands, Hamilton and Massa are the only two drivers in the race for the championship. If Massa wins the final F1 in Brazil, Hamilton will need to place no lower than fifth (to collect four points) to win the championship.
