However, Jani is confident that there is much more speed to be found in the car. Jani said: We are still quite a way off getting 100 per cent out of the car. I remember in the very first season we tested on this layout and we were lapping at times of more than 50 seconds. Eventually we came down two seconds in two years, and it will be the same thing with the new car. Obviously I can push but testing is just about learning and then we can just see what happens with the lap time.

In the first place, a performance car should be pretty. And there can be no doubt that the M3 is that. Although it resembles the normal 3 Series coupй it doesn't actually share even one body panel.

Is it just me or is there a worrying trend regarding footballers who smoke? Berbatov and Rooney do, David James certainly did and remember Socrates? Why can't they behave like athletes instead of polluting their bodies with cigarettes and alcohol? Gallas shouldn't even have been in a club in the first place.

THERE have been better days for telco Dodo . First, the St Kilda Road-based company was slugged $147,000 by the Australian Communications and Media Authority for calling people who had added their phone numbers to ACMA's Do Not Call register. According to ACMA, Dodo outsourced telesales to an offshore call-centre company one that did not comprehend the fairly self-explanatory nature of the register's name.

But I feel a bit like I'm in a penalty shoot-out in the World Cup final. We have already missed the first two shots, while the other team has scored, and now we cannot make any more mistakes and hope that they make three.

Felipe Massa left his first season with four points and 13th in the drivers championship. What he also took away was a reputation for being a 'wild-boy' which has stuck with him ever since. In that year he had five incidents, which included collisions with other drivers, spins and constant examples of over driving. Sure he was quick but many criticised how he over drove the Sauber, in stark contrast to Nick Heidfeld who was not only a much smoother driver but also seemed to get results.

I then had a great start, probably one of the best I've had this year, which was needed. I got into turn one quite clear, took it easy for the first few corners, and then I started to open up a gap.

āRyan's mistake cost us more than twenty seconds, in the end we were just ten seconds behind,ā Wendlinger reflected. āIn view of this mishap I'm satisfied with third place. Unfortunately our tyres were not holding up as expected. Both during my first stint, when I was unable to gain an advantage of more than six seconds, and also subsequently, when Ryan and I had to push. That's why it was impossible to close in on Hezemans in the end.

The spy shots, snapped (where else) at the N rburgring, show a test mule running with Murcielago bodywork, only with a few key modifications that betray its secret identity like Clark Kent caught without his glasses. For starters, the wheels are bearing what appears to be some sort of telemetry hubs. The vehicle also appears even wider than the linebacker Murcielago, and the vents behind the side windows have a different shape.
