Ferrari expands young driver academy By Matt Beer Saturday, March 6th 2010, 15:42 GMT Ferrari has announced that it has added Mirko Bortolotti, Daniel Zampieri and Raffaele Marciello to its Ferrari Driver Academy project, alongside first recruit Jules Bianchi.
Bortolotti and Zampieri have already tested for Ferrari as their prize for winning the Italian Formula 3 title in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Having raced in Formula 2 last year, Bortolotti is set for a GP3 seat with Addax in 2010, while Zampieri will drive for Pons in Formula Renault 3.5. Marciello, a 15-year-old karting graduate, will be placed in Italian single-seater category Formula Abarth (formerly Formula Azzurra) this year. Ferrari has also revealed that the champion in new Brazilian series Formula Future Fiat will automatically become part of its Academy programme next year. read more »

Naza is targeting to sell 1,600 Chevrolet vehicles this year, underpinned by sales of the Cruze that it expects to launch in the second quarter, according to Naza group of companies joint executive chairman and chief executive officer Datuk SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin.

“We expect to sell 1,200 to 1,500 units of the Chevrolet Cruze this year,” he said after signing a distributor sales and service agreement with US-based car manufacturer General Motors Corp (GM) yesterday.

The all-new version of the Porsche Cayenne was revealed at Geneva yesterday and will be launched in New Zealand in July. The initial wave of models landing then includes a version that presents something new for the powerbroker brand, a hybrid. A Porsche Prius? Well, not quite. Power and pace are still important brand drivers, and assuredly the new drivetrain - a marriage of do-good electrics with a bad boy supercharged petrol V6 - will give this version enough fizz to maintain all-important SUV supremacy in any traffic light GP.

Un clima non propriamente clemente, ha accolto questa mattina il team 'AF Corse', che si и presentato in forze sull'autodromo romano di Vallelunga: ben 6, le Ferrari F430 GT2 presenti nei box del circuito.
In un box ci sono i due esemplari per Alesi e Fisichella, con le vetture gommate Michelin, di fianco a loro altre due F430, questa volta gommate Pirelli e infine altrie due, di cui una bianca (presumibilmente l'esamplare 'Megadrive') con Cioci che sta girando giа da un'ora.

L'asfalto и umido e la temperatura molto fredda, Fisico in questi minuti sta prendendo confidenza con la vettura, dopo aver fatto delle tornate di riscaldamento con le gomme intagliate, ora si stanno utilizzando le slick.
